Sharing Passwords with Team Members

Secure Password Sharing

Sharing Individual Records

  1. Open the record you want to share
  2. Click the Share button
  3. Select team members or groups
  4. Set permissions:
    • View Only: Can see but not edit
    • Edit: Can modify the record
    • Full Access: Can edit and reshare
  5. Add a message (optional)
  6. Click Share

Sharing Entire Folders

Share all records in a folder at once:

  1. Right-click on a folder
  2. Select "Share Folder"
  3. Choose team members
  4. Set default permissions for all records
  5. Click Share

Managing Shared Access

View and modify sharing settings:

  • View Shared With: See who has access
  • Revoke Access: Remove sharing permissions
  • Change Permissions: Update access levels
  • Transfer Ownership: Make another user the owner

Security Considerations

  • Only share with trusted team members
  • Use "View Only" for sensitive credentials
  • Regularly audit shared records
  • Revoke access when team members leave
  • Use folder sharing for consistent permissions
