Generating Strong Passwords

Our password generator helps you create secure, random passwords.

How to Use

1. When creating or editing a record, click the Generate icon next to the password field
2. Customize your password requirements:
   • Length: 8-64 characters (recommended: 16+)
   • Uppercase letters: A-Z
   • Lowercase letters: a-z
   • Numbers: 0-9
   • Special characters: !@#$%^&*
3. Click Generate to create a new password
4. Click Copy to copy to clipboard
5. Click Apply to use the password

Password Strength Indicator

The strength indicator shows password security:

• 🔴 Weak: Easily guessable, < 8 characters
• 🟡 Fair: Basic requirements met
• 🔵 Good: Strong password with mixed characters
• 🟢 Excellent: Very strong, 16+ characters with all types

Best Practices

• Use at least 16 characters for important accounts
• Include all character types
• Never reuse passwords across sites
• Change passwords regularly for sensitive accounts
• Avoid personal information (names, birthdays, etc.)
